About Musik Hack

Musik Hack is the brainchild of Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Stan Greene, and composer / plug-in developer Sam Fischmann.

Stan has mixed records on Billboard #1 projects such as Rihanna’s “Anti”, Big Sean’s “Dark Sky Paradise”, and Wale’s “The Album About Nothing”. He’s also worked on O.T. Genasis’s multi-platinum smash hit singles “CoCo”, “Cut It”, and "Push It', Jaden Smith's multi-platinum single "Icon", and songs from Pharrell, Saweetie, and Busta Rhymes. He is a protege of Manny Marroquin, who he worked with at the renowned Larrabee Recording Studios.

Sam is a seasoned software developer whose portfolio spans audio/DSP, Web development, and embedded systems. He’s also a composer and longtime musician. Sam is obsessed with building creative, functional, major-label-quality products that don’t look like airplane cockpits. If you ask nicely, he can also cook up a mean marinara...

Alex is a software developer whose career was in the financial services industry before finding programming. Alex handles Musik Hack’s Web development, APIs, payments & product authorization, and spends a lot of time listening to music, baking bread, and thinking about elevators.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a demo?

Go to our home page and hit the "Get Demo" button. Fill in your email address, and we will send you the download links and instructions.

I signed up for a demo (or purchased Master Plan) but never received an email. What happened?
You should receive an email from us with download links within a few minutes of submitting the form on our website. Please check your spam filter if you do not see the email. If you have a Gmail email address, try also checking your “Promotions” folder. If you can’t find the email, contact us on the form below.
Does my demo start as soon as I sign up through the website?
Your demo does not start until you log into the product for the first time. You can see how much time you have remaining at the bottom of the settings screen (click the Gear icon at the bottom right corner of the Master Plan interface).
How does the rent-to-own work?
If you opt for rent-to-own, the lifetime price of the product will be split evenly over 12 months. The payments are handled by FastSpring and are not a perpetual subscription. When you make your first rent-to-own payment, you will immediately receive a timed license for Master Plan. You will also receive a confirmation email from FastSpring with information about how to log into the customer portal and change/cancel at any time. After your final payment, your license will become a lifetime license and you will not be charged again.
I purchased after I tried a demo. How do I activate my purchase?
If you purchased Master Plan with the same email address you used for your demo, no action is required on your part! Master Plan will automatically pick up your license and you can continue to use the product as you have. If you already have a demo with a different email address, wait until the demo expires, then log in using the email address you used at purchase. If you don’t know which email address you used at purchase, check your confirmation email, or contact us and we’ll sort you out!
How do I install your plugin?
Click the download links in the email sent to you, or the link buttons on the demo signup confirmation page, corresponding to your operating system. This will download the installer. Once the installer download is complete, run the installer by locating it in your Downloads, unzipping it (Windows only) and double-clicking it. Progress through the steps as instructed. Voila!
How can I confirm that the installer was run properly?

A fast way to know if the installer was successful is to check for the Master Plan VST3 or AAX files on your computer.

If using Windows, look for Master Plan VST3 files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and AAX files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins.
If you’re on Mac OS, you can find VST3 files in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3, AU files in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and AAX files in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-ins.
We urge you not to change the location of these files, as this will impact your DAW’s ability to scan and detect Master Plan.

I downloaded your software and I can’t find it! How do I use it?
Master Plan was made to run inside a DAW, and is used daily in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic, FL Studio, Garage Band, Bigwig, and various other sequencers. Once you’ve downloaded the installer and run it, and the installation is complete, you can open and use Master Plan in the DAW of your choice. Note that depending on the DAW, you may have to close and reopen your session, or rescan for new plugins, in order to select Master Plan the first time. Please contact us if you’re having difficulty locating Master Plan inside your DAW.
How many computers can I use my license on?
You can use your license (including demo!) on three computers. If you need more, please contact us.
How do I install an update to Master Plan?
When you open Master Plan, you should see the word 'Update' in the bottom right corner of the interface, under the Gear icon. Click the Gear icon to enter the settings screen, then click the Download button on the right side to start downloading the latest version of Master Plan. A file browser will open with the installer window - click to run the installer. Restart your DAW and you should now see the latest version of Master Plan!
How can I update my payment method? Can I stop and restart my rent-to-own plan?
You can access and manage your rent to own plan here. You can update your payment method and pause/resume your subscription!
